When we were approached by Max Jantz Excavating to design build a custom educational & marketing facility for the world-renowned Gardiner Angus Ranch, we were not only thrilled but honored. Gardiner Angus Ranch pioneered pure beef breeding and genetic engineering for the beef industry.

Working closely with Kansas State University, the Gardiners needed a marketing facility that would house K-State interns in an educational environment while accommodating over 1,000 attendees during their bi-annual bull events.

The 23,000 Sq. Ft. marketing facility sits on 21,000 acres in Southwest Kansas. It is fully equipped with a 5,000 Sq. Ft. sales arena, 4,800 Sq. Ft. dining hall, Gardiner Ranch history museum, industrial kitchen, offices, conference room, and living quarters for eight interns.

Before construction even began, the owners and a team of graphic designers were provided with a 3D fly through of the entire building. This allowed “Graphic Arts of Topeka” and the owners to start planning ahead of time for artwork and displays.

The timeline for this project was huge because of the bi-annual bull sale event. From conception to completion, Gardiner Ranch Marketing Facility took a little under 9 months to complete. Plans were finalized within 2 months and construction was started and completed in 6 months.

Everything in the facility was custom, from the engineered bull ring, wireless arena and conferencing technologies, to the casework and the stunning timeline museum at the main entrance.
